COVID & Hygiene Procedures
Please note that due to COVID requirement and new safe practice put in place I can no longer do massage with glass cups as they require fire (not safe whilst wearing cups)
I will therefore offer DRY cupping only with plastic, disposable cups and manual pumps. This also applies for the hijama deluxe session which includes 30min dry cupping massage before your hijama treatment.
I hope you understand this is to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
If you have any questions concern please do not hesitate to contact me.
As our hygiene policy and practice was already really strict we don’t have much changes to do for COVID.
Existing Hygiene Practice
- All sheets for dry cupping treatments are used once per client and boiled at 60 degrees.
- Disposable sheets are used for other treatment.
- The massage table is fully cleaned in between clients.
- For cancer patient, washing of hands is done multiple time throughout treatment to ensure no contamination occurs when massaging different area of body (i.e. feet to hand to body)
- All dry cupping equipment is washed fully in between each client.
- All equipment used for wet cupping is used only once (including pump) and disposed off appropriately following health and safety guidelines set out by local government.
